Replacing the Gear Knob on a Peugeot 206

Is the gear knob on the Peugeot 206 damaged and you don’t know how to replace it? Here’s how to proceed with the replacement. Use a plastic lever to detach the leather gaiter trim, lift the gaiter upwards, and cut the retaining clip. Hold the knob in your hands and twist it left and right until it comes off the gear stick. Fit the new leather gaiter with the clips (if removed), then take the new knob and slide it onto the stick in the centre console until it is secured. Refit the retaining clip for the knob, lower the gaiter and secure it onto the centre console with the plastic trim.
