How to remove the gear knob? Remove the screw on the side of the knob. Grip the knob and rotate it left and right until it comes off the gear lever. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (if necessary). Fit the new leather gaiter with clips (if removed), then take the new knob and slide it onto the lever in the centre console. Tighten the knob's securing screw. Test the movement of the lever in the centre console to ensure the Peugeot knob is correctly fitted. Use an original or generic brand knob.
