Replacing the oil filter on a Peugeot 206? Here’s how to remove it from the engine bay. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then use a strap wrench to unscrew the oil filter and remove it (install the new part). Raise the car on a column lift or jack; unscrew the bolt from the oil sump, drain the fluid into a disposal container, and re-tighten the bolt on the oil sump. Top up the engine with new oil. Check the oil level multiple times with the metal dipstick until the ideal measurement is reached. Start the Peugeot 206's engine.
