How to replace the engine oil filter on a Peugeot 206. In this video guide, let’s see how to proceed with the replacement: open the car door and pull up the engine bay release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Use a chain wrench to unscrew the large oil filter; unscrew the drain plug of the oil sump (let the used oil drain into a container) and finally re-screw it. Install a new filter in the designated housing, ensuring it fits well around the metal walls. Reinstall the oil sump plug and top up the engine oil. Close the front bonnet at the end of the maintenance.
