In this video, we will see how to replace the door pillar trim of a Peugeot 206: we open the window, dry everything well in case it is wet, and then remove the rubber seal from the window ledge of the door. We also remove the rubber seal from the pillar, and with a heat gun - if we don't have one, a powerful hairdryer will do - we remove the trim from the pillar. Using this tool, we also remove the remaining glue and then clean well. We apply the new adhesive using a scraper to avoid air bubbles, making sure it adheres well with the heat gun, then we cut off the excess parts with a sharp cutter: be very careful not to damage the paint! We put back the vertical seal, then the one for the window, and we're done.
