Replacing the battery in the Peugeot 206 key? Follow these steps to change the remote. Remove the tiny screw located on the key cover, then use a screwdriver to pry apart the two halves of the plastic key cover. Once the two plastic covers are separated, extract the worn battery. Install a new battery (ensure it is the same size and voltage). Reassemble the two halves of the remote by pressing the key cover together until you hear it click into place. Screw the screw back into the cover. Check the proper functioning of the remote key using the designated buttons.
