Replace the Third Brake Light Bulb on Peugeot 307

Before carrying out any maintenance on a car, ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface or on a ramp for safe and stable working conditions. After taking this precaution, proceed to replace the third brake light bulb on the Peugeot 307. Open the rear boot and remove the protective trim from the inside of the boot, corresponding to the position of the third brake light. Simply pull it off using your fingers. At this point, you will see the back of the third brake light assembly. Insert a screwdriver into the two side holes to remove the assembly. Now, disconnect the two power cables and you can proceed to replace either the entire assembly or just the bulb. To replace the bulb, rotate the plastic screw counterclockwise that holds the bulb in place. Remove the bulb and replace it. Now, reassemble everything by reversing the steps taken.
