Pry off the on-board computer frame with a small flathead screwdriver or plastic wedge and disconnect the connector. Unscrew the two torx t20 that fasten the display at the top, then with a flat screwdriver hold down the two clips located near the previous torx screws and let the display come out. Help yourself, in the meantime, by inserting the same screwdriver into the slot below the on-board computer. Once out of the seat, unplug the connector and that's it. As you can see, this is a very simple operation that can be carried out at home.

How do you open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5?
