Replacing the Starter Motor

The starter motor is located on the gearbox at the rear: to access it, you need to get underneath the vehicle, so it is advisable to lift it on a ramp. In any case, before proceeding with disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals, remove the battery itself, the intake ducts, and the air filter housing. At this point, it is easier to reach the fixing bolts of the starter motor, but you will still need to access from underneath to complete the disassembly. You can then proceed with the installation of the replacement starter motor: it is recommended to choose a refurbished one rather than a used one.
