Instructions for Removing the Starter Motor

Before proceeding with the removal of the starter motor, it is advisable to disconnect the battery terminals to then disconnect the power cables of the motor itself without risking accidental contacts and potential shorts. The starter motor is located on the gearbox and is secured with three bolts: to remove the top one, it is preferable to access it directly from the engine bay, but for the other two and the subsequent extraction of the starter motor from its housing, it is more appropriate to lift the vehicle on a ramp or position it over a pit; once the securing bolts are removed, the starter motor can be extracted from its housing.
