In this video tutorial we will see how to remove the gear knob and its boot on the Peugeot 307, but also on the Citroen C3 first series and on most models of the PSA group. First of all we get on board the car and start by pulling the gear knob upwards with force, in order to release it; after which we unclip the gearshift gaiter on the sides and remove the whole block, as shown in the video. At this point we separate the headset and gear knob, cutting the clamp; then we reassemble the knob and the cap, fixing them well, without leaving any play between the knob and the lever!
