Once the bonnet is open, detach the gas struts and unscrew the fastening pins that secure the bonnet to the hinges. It is advisable to get assistance for this operation, as once the pins are removed, the bonnet can easily detach from its position and may fall due to its weight, causing damage. If you have a forklift or a small portable crane, you can also work as shown in the video, by securing the bonnet to the forks of the forklift. Finally, if you want to remove the hinges as well, the fastening pins are located on the inner side of the wing.
