Start by positioning the engine at "top dead centre, first cylinder" and then secure the engine with the appropriate tools, inserting one into the camshaft and the other into the flange behind the oil filter. Next, loosen the belt using the tensioner pulley. Now you can fit the new pulley, ensuring it is correctly positioned. Fit the belt onto the crankshaft and secure it with a clip to prevent slipping; then route it over the camshaft pulley, the water pump, and the tensioner pulley (to be adjusted with the pin). Now remove all the clips and rotate the engine to adjust the belt tension.
