Remove the timing belt on the Peugeot 206 if it needs changing. Changing the timing belt is very important to avoid damaging the engine. Here’s how to remove the belt. Lift the front bonnet of the car, secure it, and detach the engine soundproofing panel. Remove the timing belt cover and the other protective covers. Loosen the tensioner, the second tensioner, and slide the belt off its seat. Using a spanner, install the tensioner roller, tension it until the correct belt tension is achieved (install both belts). Start and test the engine of the Peugeot 206.
