How do you replace the timing belt of the Peugeot 206?

To replace the timing belt of the Peugeot 206, you need to lift the car with a jack, removing the right front wheel and the corresponding inner wheel arch: in this way you will have access to the side of the engine block, where the central nut that secures the belt tensioner pulley is located. Once this pulley has been removed, the tension of the belt will be significantly reduced and it will be possible to remove it from its seat: the new belt can now be inserted and it will then be possible to tension it by also mounting all the removed parts.
