In this video tutorial, see how to change the gear oil on a Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Remove the air duct and locate the gear oil filler cap. Raise the car with a hydraulic jack and place axle stands for safety. Position a container under the gearbox to collect the used oil, unscrew the oil drain plug with an 8 mm square socket, and wait for all the oil to drain into the container. Lower the car to help the oil flow out. Once all the oil has drained, screw in the plug with a new washer, tightening it sufficiently. Top up with new oil with additive (SAE 75w-80).
