Checking the Coolant Level

Model: Peugeot 106 MK 1 - Years 1991-2004

It is recommended to perform this check when the engine is cold, as you will need to open the cap of the coolant reservoir (when the engine is hot, the cooling system is under pressure, and opening the cap could cause hot liquid to escape). Once the cap is opened, check if the coolant reaches the designated mark on the reservoir indicating the reference level: add coolant until the mark is reached and close the cap. If the liquid is nearly at the level, you can also simply add water (preferably distilled); otherwise, obtain ready-to-use antifreeze liquid (if concentrated, follow the dilution instructions).
