The reset operation of the SERVICE message relating to the maintenance interval is manual and is carried out using the reset button for partial kilometers located at the bottom right of the instrument panel: with the ignition off, press and hold the button, turn on the ignition and wait for the 10-second countdown to start on the central display; at the end of the countdown the value zero will appear, at this point turn off the panel; when the ignition is switched on again, the new mileage interval will appear for 5 seconds until the next maintenance.

How do you open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5?
