As for the replacement of the clutch for a Peugeot 207 it is necessary to work under the car. Then lie down under the car or jack up the passenger side. You have to find the gearbox near the engine, in the direction of the engine, look for the hose that connects the brake fluid reservoir, it must end directly in the master cylinder, there you will find the slave cylinder of the clutch. Remove the dust cap from the breather screw also with a screwdriver, insert the pipe and the clamp on the connection of the breather valves, now visible, fill the reservoir with brake fluid and hook the other end of the flexible pipe. Open the valve with a socket wrench and observe the pipe and the reservoir, when there is no more bubble in the brake fluid coming out of the pipe, now you can close the valve, repeat until there is no more bubble. Temporarily close the valve, release the clutch and check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If it is less, fill it up to the maximum. Remove the hose and replace the dust cap, depending on the type of cap, it can be closed more or less easily. Finally in the driving position change gear to test the hardness.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport
