How to replace the clutch of the Peugeot 207.

Today we will explain how to replace the clutch of the Peugeot 207. First, we pull the handbrake of the vehicle and open the front hood. We disconnect the battery and then remove it. Next, we remove the relay box and using a flathead screwdriver, we disconnect the electrical cables from the battery housing to gain access to the ECU. We remove the air duct by unscrewing the clamp and disconnecting the hose and connector from the filter box, which will need to be removed later. We use the screwdriver to disconnect the reverse sensor, and with a 13mm socket and extension, we unscrew the bolt that secures the ground to the engine. We unscrew the cooling hose using a 10mm wrench. We disconnect the gearbox assembly by also disconnecting the gear controls. Using an Allen key, we unscrew the bolts that secure the bar located under the engine to gain access to the gearbox. We empty the gearbox by draining the oil into a container. We remove the front right and left wheels. Using a lever, we remove the wishbone from the hub and take out the driveshaft from the wheel hub. To access the section, it is necessary to remove the subframe from the driver's side using a wrench with a 16mm insert. With a socket wrench, we unscrew the crossmember under the radiator on the driver's side. Using a socket and a 13mm insert, we remove the engine mount to lower it and gain access to the clutch. Next, we also remove the starter motor and the pendulum engine support from the gearbox. We pull the engine to access the third bolt to remove the pendulum support. With a socket wrench with a Torx insert, we unscrew the bolt located on the flywheel to remove the clutch. We mount the clutch onto the disc. We clean the surface of the flywheel with brake cleaner and align the pins. We position the pressure plate on the fork and reassemble both in their housing with some gear grease, then we reattach the gearbox by inserting it into the clutch disc. We then proceed in reverse order with the previously explained procedure to complete the assembly.
