Before applying the new gasket, carefully clean its seat, both on the cylinder head side and under the tappet cover, in order to eliminate any residual dirt and encrustations that could compromise adherence and therefore the seal of the gasket. Once the cleaning phase is complete, place the new gasket in the seat made along the edges of the cover, position the cover on the head and tighten the relative fixing pins with the dynamomteric wrench and according to a cross-type pattern (no need to apply sealant mastic unless there are signs of wear).

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start.
