How to Remove the Dashboard of the Peugeot 308 MK2

In this video, you will see how to remove the dashboard of the Peugeot 308 MK2. You will need plastic spatulas to avoid scratching the parts, as they are only clips. Start from the lower part of the dashboard on the driver's side. Under the steering wheel, you will find two star screws to remove in order to take off the under-steering cover. Now remove the base of the gear lever gaiter, again prying from below. This will reveal two screws at the base of the central console controls that you need to unscrew. Continue by removing the two vents above the radio, again prying, this time from above. This will expose two screws that will allow you to remove the screen: the simplest method is to cover it with a cloth and gently pull towards you. Disconnect all electrical connections. To remove the lower control section, you will need a special key, which you can find on eBay with the code 313021540749 for £15.45, allowing you to release the block by pressing on the clip, as demonstrated by our YouTuber. Then, simply remove the plastic trim, disconnect the electrical connectors, and take out the Smeg by removing the last two screws.
