How to Replace the Timing Belt on the Peugeot 508?

To replace the timing belt on the Peugeot 508, loosen the screws securing the cover on the left side of the engine block: beneath this panel, you will find the timing belt around the respective pulleys. By removing the right front wheel and the corresponding wheel arch liner, you can loosen the central nut of the tensioner pulley, reducing the tension on the belt: this can now be removed from its housing to be replaced with a new one. After the replacement, reinstall all previously removed components.
