Resetting the service light is an operation to perform after completing the maintenance activities, such as replacing the air and oil filters, topping up fluids, and checking the brakes and engine. To reset the service light on a Peugeot 508, turn the ignition on and off twice, then with the ignition off, press the button with the "000" symbol located on the instrument panel. Wait for the countdown to finish and the service light to turn off before releasing the button. Once finished, release the button and turn on the ignition.
