How to reset the service light on a Peugeot 508

Resetting the service light on the Peugeot 508 is done via the dashboard display. With the ignition off, press and hold the "000" or "Trip" button on the dashboard. While holding it, press the "Start/Stop" button (or turn the key to the ON position). At that moment, a countdown will appear on the display starting from ten. When the countdown reaches zero, the system resets the service light. Release the button and turn off the ignition. Turn it back on to check that the light is indeed off. This procedure is valid for most Peugeot 508 models, both first and second versions.
