First, make sure you have a new CR2032 battery and a small flat-head screwdriver available. At this point, take the screwdriver and use it to remove the protective cover of the remote control. Once that is done, also remove the exhausted battery and replace it with the new one. Finally, reassemble the cover and you are finished.
