Replacing the remote battery on a Peugeot 508, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. For this, you will need a small flat-head screwdriver and a replacement CR2032 battery.

First, locate the slot on the lower edge of the remote, near the metal ring, then insert the screwdriver into it, lever it open, and unlock the rear cover. Next, remove the old battery using the screwdriver again, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything.
