An important operation to keep the Peugeot 508 engine efficient is the periodic replacement of the engine oil: to remind us to perform this maintenance, a control system appears to display a warning on the instrumentation. Once the change is done, we reset the notification system. From the driver's seat, we press and hold the button at the top of the lever to the left of the steering wheel, turn on the instrumentation, and we will see a countdown from ten to zero in the part of the dashboard usually occupied by the speedometer, at the end a confirmation message will appear.
