In this tutorial, see how to adjust the handbrake on a Peugeot 206, a very simple and quick operation. First, park the vehicle on a flat surface with the first gear engaged.

Next, go to the rear seats, locate the small cover indicated, and remove it by prying with a flathead screwdriver. Then, unscrew the released screw with a Torx T20 socket, remove the plastic cover, and lift the carpet.

At this point, tighten the adjustment nut with a 13mm spanner until you reach the ideal tension level.
