How to change the engine oil of a Vespa GTS 300?

Model: Piaggio Vespa Gts 300
Part: Engine oil

Video tutorial

To change the engine oil of a Vespa GTS 300, make sure the scooter is cold. Place the Vespa on a flat and elevated surface with a central stand to facilitate access.

Remove the oil cap from the end of the engine housing and place a draining container under the oil pan. Unscrew the oil drain plug at the bottom of the oil pan and let the old oil completely drain into the draining container. After draining, remove and check the plug for damaged gaskets and replace them if necessary.

Clean the drain plug and screw it back in. Using a funnel, slowly pour the new engine oil into the engine housing opening. Make sure to use the oil recommended by the manufacturer and respect the specified capacity.

After adding the new oil, replace the oil cap and check the oil level with the dipstick. Make sure the level is correct and tighten the oil cap. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to allow the oil to circulate.

Check the oil level again and add if necessary. Finally, clean any residual oil splashes and close the engine compartment.

How to change the engine oil in the Benelli Motobi 200 Evo?

The engine oil in the Benelli Motobi 200 Evo can be replaced by loosening the drain plug located under the oil sump: these components will be situated in the central lower part of the vehicle. Once the plug is removed, you can collect the used oil in a container placed underneath; when the oil has drained out, you can then remove the oil filter located in the same spot and insert a new one. Finally, top up by adding the necessary amount of oil through the breather located on the right side of the vehicle.
