To disassemble the engine of the Aprilia RS 660, you need to loosen the screws that hold it in place in its housing: by doing so, it will then be possible to loosen the screws that hold the intake and exhaust manifolds in place, also disconnecting all the connectors connected to the engine. At this point, it will be possible to loosen the screws that hold the cylinder head in place, also removing the valve cover and camshafts; in this way, the cylinders together with the pistons inside them will need to be removed. These can be detached from the connecting rods, which in turn must be removed from the crankshaft to access all the internal parts of the engine.
