If we need to disassemble the fuel tap of the Piaggio Vespa Px tank, and in general of all Vespa with a fuel mixture, because it is clogged or to perform a treatment inside the tank, first of all we must obtain the appropriate 32mm key for disassembly. Those more skilled in mechanical abilities can even build it themselves, while others can turn to a good Piaggio spare parts dealer. We remove the tank from the frame and disconnect the carburetor pipe and the tap lever. We insert the key into the cap hole and unscrew the internal nut, remove the old tap and recover the nut. We insert the new tap with its gasket, slide the nut onto the threads from the hole and tighten it well with the key.
