As usual, before starting the maintenance operation, we put the bike in a stable and safe position so that we can work on it. After removing the mud protection (in correspondence with the pedals, on the left side of the bike), in plastic, we proceed to remove the belt itself. We unscrew the variator bolt, using the suitable wrench, and remove, one by one, the pieces until we reach the fixed pin. At this point we replace the old belt with the new one and proceed to reassemble the variator and the other accessory parts. To fix the variator well, we must tighten the bolt with the wrench and, at the same time, lock the rotation of the same using a screwdriver (as shown in the images).

How do you replace the clutch on the Ducati Monster 620?

The replacement of the clutch of the Ducati Monster 620 is carried out by loosening the bolts that secure the casing located on the right side of the bike, in correspondence with its crank arm. Once these bolts have been loosened, it will be possible to detach the crankcase cover to access the components below; by unscrewing the bolts that secure the clutch discs, it will be possible to extract them all from their housing, so that the new spare parts can be inserted. After installing the new clutch, it will be possible to secure it with bolts and also seal the crankcase cover.
