Replacing the Rear Brake Pads on Piaggio Beverly

Obtain a 17 mm spanner to unscrew the two bolts located under the exhaust that secure the caliper to the brake disc. This will allow you to remove the caliper from the disc.

Now use a 6 mm spanner to unscrew the two rear bolts (previously hidden) of the caliper. Once done, remove the worn pads and clean the caliper.

Before fitting the new pads, which will obviously be much thicker than the old ones, push back the pistons of the caliper to create space. Insert the pads and proceed in reverse until fully reassembled.

Battery Replacement for the Ducati Monster 796

Let's see how to proceed with replacing the battery on a Ducati Monster 796. Open and remove the seat, unscrew the screws securing the flange around the fuel tank cap and those securing the two half-shells covering the tank, and remove everything. Unscrew and remove the plastic panel under the seat to also unscrew the screw fixing the tank. On the left side, you will find a bolt securing the tank to the frame; unscrew this as well to be able to slide and lift the tank from its position after disconnecting and temporarily sealing the fuel vapour breather hose. This gives you access to the battery; disconnect the terminals from the poles and unclip the securing strap, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. Reattach the terminals, ensuring the correct polarity, secure the strap, and reassemble everything in reverse order.
