To replace the transmission on the Piaggio Liberty 50, you need to loosen the screws that secure the cover containing the transmission, located on the left side of the scooter near the rear wheel. Once all the bolts securing the cover have been removed, you can detach the cover and access the underlying components: by loosening the central nuts that secure the variator and the clutch, you can remove these two components along with the belt.

The parts can then be replaced with new spare parts, and the cover can be reattached.
