To replace the rear shock absorber on a Piaggio Zip, you need to open the under-seat compartment so that it can be completely removed by unscrewing the fastening screws inside. Once this compartment is fully removed, you will have access to the screw that secures the shock absorber from its upper side. This screw must be loosened so that you can then unscrew the one at the bottom; by doing this, the old shock absorber can be removed from its housing and then replaced with a new spare part.
