To replace the transmission on the Piaggio Vespa GTS 250, loosen the screws securing the cover located on the left side of the scooter, near the rear wheel. Once the screws are loosened, you can remove the cover and access the underlying components. By loosening the nut that secures the variator and the one that secures the clutch, you can remove both components along with the belt around them. Now, refit all the removed parts, securing them with the screws and covering everything with the cover.
