To replace the rear brake pads on a Piaggio MP3, first loosen the bolts securing the exhaust to its housing, removing it to access the components at the rear. You will then locate the brake caliper positioned on the appropriate disc: it must be removed from its seat by unscrewing the fixing bolts so that the pads inside can be pulled out. Once the old pads are removed, insert the new ones, secure the caliper, and reattach the exhaust.
