To change the motor oil of a Piaggio Liberty 50, follow these steps. Start by placing the scooter on a flat surface and making sure the engine is warm but not too hot. Locate the oil drain plug on the engine crankcase, usually located on the lower side of the engine. Place a collection container under the oil drain plug. Remove the oil drain plug using an appropriate wrench and let the used oil drain completely into the collection container. Once the draining is complete, remove and replace the oil filter. Apply a small amount of new oil on the gasket of the new filter before installation. Then, tighten the oil drain plug. Locate the oil fill cap on the engine and remove it. Fill the engine with new oil using a funnel until reaching the recommended level. Check the oil level using the dipstick and add oil if necessary. Finally, securely tighten the oil fill cap. Make sure to properly dispose of the used oil at an authorized collection center.
