How to Change the Engine Oil on a Porsche 718

Before you begin, open the rear engine cover of your Porsche 718. Start by unscrewing and removing the upper oil filler cap. Next, lift the rear of the vehicle. This will give you access to the lower drain nut. Position a container underneath the oil sump, then unscrew and remove the drain nut to allow all the engine oil to flow out. Once the engine oil has drained, re-screw the drain nut, then lower the rear. At this point, pour in the new oil through the filler hole, and finally, re-screw the filler cap. Once you have re-screwed the filler cap, you will have successfully completed the replacement.
