Replacing the Spark Plugs and Leads of the Porsche 993

This guide provides the main instructions for removing and replacing the spark plugs along with the wiring of the Porsche 993. In this case, the spark plug replacement is performed with the engine on the bench; therefore, disconnect the spark plug connectors (a total of six) and use a socket wrench with an extension to unscrew and remove them. At this point, unscrew the bolts of the cylinder head cover to access the valves, replacing the gasket if necessary; then install the new spark plugs, ensuring they have the same heat rating and thread size!
