How to Remove the Engine Cover on Porsche Cayman

On the Porsche Cayman, accessing the engine for maintenance is not straightforward. First, remove the grille located above the engine cover by simply pulling it off by hand. Remove the carpet above the cover by prying around the entire area with a plastic wedge and possibly a cloth to avoid damage. Once the carpet is removed, you will finally reach the metal engine cover, which is secured by five T30 Torx screws. Done! Remove the metal engine cover and proceed with the desired work.
