How to Remove Front Bumper on Porsche Boxster

Model: Porsche Boxster 986, MK 1 - Years 1996-2004

Removing the front bumper, despite the complexity and importance of the vehicle, is quite simple and does not require special precautions: start by opening the front hood and removing the plastic trim piece located just above the bumper, at the hood closure line (rotate the fastening clips about 90 degrees counterclockwise) and then unscrew the bumper mounting screws. Disconnect and remove the side turn signal lights and unscrew the screw underneath. Remove the push clips from the wheel wells to access the screw that secures the edge of the bumper to the fender, and finally remove the screws along the lower edge of the bumper to complete the removal.
