Removing the Front Headlight on Porsche Boxster

Model: Porsche Boxster 986, MK 1 - Years 1996-2004

If the headlight is broken, you need to replace it. Here's how to remove the front headlight on a Porsche Boxster. Open the hood by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard and secure it. Remove the cover next to the headlight, and use the original wrench to detach the headlight from the bumper. Once the headlight is detached, remove it from the bumper, pull the bulb holders out of the headlight, and extract the damaged bulb using a screwdriver. Install the new headlight with new bulbs (always the correct type and size) into the front bumper housing. Check if the bulbs are working.
