How do you replace the headlight bulb of the Porsche Boxster?

Model: Porsche Boxster 986, MK 1 - Years 1996-2004

In order to replace the headlight bulb of the Porsche Boxster, you will need to open the front hood to remove the side lining of the underlying compartment: once this lining has been removed, it will be possible to loosen the screws underneath that secure the headlight assembly to its seat and thus extract the headlight from its housing. Once the headlight has been removed, it will be possible to disconnect its rear connector and remove the bulb from inside; it will now be possible to insert the new one and connect the connector in order to reattach the headlight assembly.
