How to Replace Your Car's Dashboard

Model: Porsche Boxster 986, MK 1 - Years 1996-2004

In your car's dashboard, various components are usually housed (such as the radio, air vents, climate control system, and various controls) along with the instrumentation. You may need to remove this dashboard. The following guide shows you how to do it. There are screws and specific clips to leverage without forcing too much. You will need an Allen wrench and a U wrench. Once you remove the 4 screws on the dashboard, you can proceed to detach it, always doing so carefully since there are clips that should not be damaged, nor should the plastic hooks or electrical wires.
