Instrument Cluster Disassembly Instructions

Model: Porsche 911 996 - Years 1997-2005

To disassemble the instrument cluster, remove the parking light switch located to the right of the instrument cluster and the cap at the left corner. At this point, access the screws securing the dashboard portion housing the instrument cluster, unscrew them, and pull this portion away from the dashboard enough to disconnect the connectors with bayonet-style locking mechanisms. Now, you can also unscrew the screws securing the instrument cluster and detach it from its housing, taking care not to damage anything.
