How to remove the odometer on the Porsche 911 (993)

In this video we see how to remove the odometer from the instrument panel of a Porsche 911: first of all we will need a plastic spatula to pry from the bottom of the instrument, being careful not to damage the rubber gasket surrounding it. We will have to pry with some delicacy, then when it comes out enough from its housing we can use our fingers to extract it, and then remove the connector located on the back. To put it back in place, we should lubricate it with some silicone spray, reconnect the rear plug and then insert it by pressing with our fingers.
