How do you remove the convertible top from an older model Porsche Boxster? Follow these steps: Use a screwdriver to remove the side plastic trim pieces located on the sides of the top. Then, use a wrench or socket to remove the nuts on it (if present). Once the nuts are removed, slide the top back (as shown in the video). Disconnect the plastic pieces of the top from the upper side of the car. Remove the retaining hooks of the top located on the frame of the car's convertible structure. Finally, take the top off the vehicle and prepare to install a new one with the included retaining hooks.
