Wear and tear from use over time causes this issue, and the only solution is to replace them, which can also be done DIY. Partially open the convertible top as shown in the video to access these elastic bands, remove them, prepare the replacement bands of exactly the same size, and install them.

To reinforce the anchor points, it is preferable to apply metal staples with a stapler.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started.
